The Swan Princess

I always remembered when we were young, weekends were movie manias at our grandmama's place. My cousins and i would pick our favourite cartoons and we will sit in front of the TV the whole afternoon. we used to watch cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Land before time(dun really like this, not a big fan of dinosaurs)and i will always pick The Swan Princess.

I remembered i have watched it several times, but i didn't really understood what was going on until it was aired on TV many years later. when i have grown up and my English improved that is.

It's like Swan Lake made into animation minus the ballet shoes and tutus. I must say i quite enjoy it. There was the nonsensical sidekicks like the frog who always dreamed about being a prince and the bird that is always silently helping and doing most of the work. They were half the reason why i like the movie. The love life between the main characters wasn't as cliche as the love at first sight nonsense. it showed their childhood life and how they hated each other when they were young and love slowly blossomed.

I'd like it better if prince Derek had a better hairstyle, we had the same hairstyle when i was in primary 3. And i still don't understand how a swan, yes a swan can faint due to heartache. Ok, maybe because she is human inside the bird, but people do not faint of heartache do they?
